LIVING WORLD

The Living World represent most moving objects in the world of Microsoft Flight Simulator, apart from the aircraft piloted by the user. Most of the default living world of the sim can be modified and overridden through this SDK.

The Living World Config section of this document describes how to configure the main file for the Living World. It includes some behavior settings, but mostly which models to use for Road Traffic, Leisure Boats, and Airport Life (both vehicles and human characters), along with some possible differences across different regions of the world.

The Airport Services chapter details the system of services that can interact with the User aircraft, such as pushbacks and baggage vehicles. The files configuring the Airport Services also has parameters for behaviors of Airport Life, including tarmac workers hanging around parked aircraft.
