AIRCRAFT SYSTEM VARIABLES

The tables below indicate the properties for the Simulation Variables that can be used to get and set properties related to the various aircraft controls and systems. For information on the units listed for each variable, please see here: Simulation Variable Units

NOTE: When Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is running in multiplayer mode, only a small number of variables are communicated between aircraft. Those variables that are available will say so in the description as being either for "All Aircraft" or for "Shared Cockpit".

INTERCOM SYSTEM ACTIVE Whether or not the intercom system is active. Bool
IS ALTITUDE FREEZE ON True if the altitude of the aircraft is frozen. Bool
IS ATTITUDE FREEZE ON True if the attitude (pitch, bank and heading) of the aircraft is frozen. Bool
IS LATITUDE LONGITUDE FREEZE ON True if the lat/lon of the aircraft (either user or AI controlled) is frozen. If this variable returns true, it means that the latitude and longitude of the aircraft are not being controlled by the simulation, so enabling, for example, a SimConnect client to control the position of the aircraft. This can also apply to altitude and attitude.

Liquid Dropping System

These SimVars are all related to the Modular Liquid Dropping System. Most of them require the name of the component that they target. This name is given using the following format:

PNEUMATICS PACK FLOW MODE:name

The current airflow mode of the named Pack.
